Brand Kit Access

Find the right NASPA brand resource, open it in the correct system, and protect the original design while you work. Canva Brand Kit access is limited to NASPA staff and constituent groups using their assigned accounts. Not sure whether you have an account? Use the MarComm request form.

01

Know where each resource lives

The Brand Portal is the starting point. It directs you to the correct source instead of asking you to remember which platform holds each file.

  • Use brand.naspa.org for current guidance, examples, and links.
  • Use the NASPA Canva Brand Kit for editable templates, colors, fonts, and approved design assets.
  • Use the NASPA asset library for approved logos, photography, and downloadable production files.
  • NASPA staff should sign in with their staff account. Constituent groups should use the account assigned to their group by their constituent group.

02

Start from an approved template

Open the resource from its portal tile and confirm the design title before changing anything.

  • Use the published Brand Template action to begin your design.
  • Name your design with the project name, owner, and date.
  • Keep locked brand elements, main pages, sharing settings, and ownership unchanged.
  • Use Brand Kit colors, Open Sans, and approved logos rather than uploading replacements.

Choose an output that matches the destination and keep the editable source with the project record.

  • Use PNG for graphics with transparency or sharp text; use JPG for photographic content.
  • Use PDF Print only when a printer requests it and the design has been checked at final size.
  • Preview the file after export for crop, contrast, accessibility, and missing elements.
  • Use the MarComm request form if an assigned account, Brand Kit, template, or asset link is unavailable.
