Approvals, Trademarks & Licensing

Use approved templates as intended for routine work. New, altered, co-branded, merchandise, or vendor-produced materials require MarComm review before they are published or produced.

No additional review is usually needed

  • An approved template is used for its intended purpose.
  • Only designated text and image areas are changed.
  • Logos, colors, typography, and spacing remain intact.
  • Brand, accessibility, permissions, and export requirements have been checked.

NASPA MarComm review is required

  • New campaigns or substantially altered layouts.
  • Co-branded materials or partner logo lockups.
  • Merchandise, apparel, promotional items, or signage.
  • Files sent to an outside printer, producer, sponsor, or vendor.
  • Any external use of the NASPA name or logo.
